Ms. Jimmie L. Sanders is a Dallas Native and a 3rd generation stylist… but that's not how she started. She started practicing nails in the 8th grade and was licensed as a Manicurist in 1993. After being diagnosed with Alopecia and experiencing a greater medically induced level of Alopecia, she knew she wanted to assist others like herself. So in 2002, she was afforded the opportunity through TRC to attend Cosmetology School at M.J.'s Beauty Academy, receiving her License in Cosmetology in 2003.

In 2005, she received her Pre-Trichology Certification under the instruction of Dr. Rodney Barnett and her Non-Surgical Hair Replacement Certification through New Concepts Hair Goods, under the instruction of Okyo Sthair. In 2006, she received her Eye Lash Specialty Training under the instruction of Debbie Quintanilla with Prima Diva Lashes. It was at this time she started the Lashin' Out with Extensions eyelash training for professionals and students. Opened her first full-service salon July of 2007 and Lashin' Out with extensions Academy August of 2019.

In 2016, she studied for and obtained her Cosmetology Instructors License. In 2015, Jimmie became a Certified Basic Hair Care Educator and Platform Artist and in 2016, their SW Regional Educator. That same year, she launched the "Lips by Je' Collection" with her daughter Jenae' Ward. In August of 2013, Jimmie founded Bold, Bald & Beautiful, Inc. 501 (c)3. She has appeared on WFAA Channel 8 for Alopecia Areata Awareness Month, was featured in T.H.I.C. (The Hair Industry Connection) Magazine in 2008 and Southern Dallas Magazine (April and September 2014). In 2009, recorded her first professional, Lashing out with Extensions Instructional DVD. In 2019, created the 10 Commandments to Safety and Sanitation seminar for Braiders and H.A.T.S. OFF the Hair Attachment Training Systems class for the specialty of Male Hair Prosthesis.

In 2016, launched her very own branded Lash Kit and in 2019 Lashin' Out with Extensions Academy a 15-year dream and is currently working on her Instructional Manual. She is truly a trailblazer and one to watch as she feels, "there are no limits to what God can do and whom you can elevate with his gifts"!
